The Royal Australian Air Force showed its appreciation and commitment to the past service and sacrifices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with the unveiling of the ‘Worimi’ F/A-18A Hornet (A21-23) on February 24 2015. <br />

The aircraft’s unique colour scheme was stenciled with WOFF Len Water’s - RAAF's first known Aboriginal fighter pilot - pilot markings and the livery was designed by Australian design studio Balarinji. The artwork depicts a Kilyarr Kilyarr, the Wedge-tail Eagle, a powerful bird of prey which dominates the skies over Australia’s land and seascapes.

The Pepsi Harrier, finally available to own. Kind of. Okay, it's really the best I could do short of buying a jet from that test pilot who has been buying them up, and he's definitely not going to sell one of them to the likes of me.
