A native born Ustian he flew as a mercenary pilot for most of the 1970s and 1980s, returning home to Ustio after it gained independence fr om Belka in 1988 shortly afterwards enlisting in the newly formed Ustio Air Force.
Due to his combat experience as a former mercenary he was given a position as an air combat instructor at the U.A.F. flight training center at Bozdar AB.
At the start of the war in March of 1995 Siudek was placed on front line service, scoring several kills in air engagements but was later shot down while providing air support for the Ustian army as it retreated from Directus.
He was later captured by Belkan forces and sent to Belka, spending the rest of the war in a POW camp.
