Basic training mission for new hornet pilots: cold start, take off, waypoint and TACAN navigation, and landing.  Also have start up checklist available for download, and tutorial video.  Mission best played after doing the hornet training missions up to and including landing.  Youtube tutorial can be found here: https://youtu.be/zuT21kn8afQ.

I decided to revise this mission.
Kneeboard added, longer time in hunting down the mobile tanks, mission starts an hour earlier & some text & end success track.
About 22 miles South West of Creech AFB an Enemy Training Camp full of would be Terrorists & Insurgents has been located & must be dealt with. They have assembled various AAA & stock piling some heavy weapon ordnance & an Armored Column is on route to this Base which also must be disrupted. There is also some enemy AC in the area.

This contains replacement beacons.lua for both Caucasus and Nevada maps to add ICLS approaches for the F/A-18C Hornet to use.  Airfields that previously had either ILS or PRMG approaches now also have ICLS signals.  A number of airfields in the Caucasus have also received TACAN stations.

OVGME compatible.

Updated April 2021 for the Caucasus map to include Anapa ICLS for RWY04 and 22 as well as other changes necessary for the file to work with recent changes by ED.

Also includes watching an assload of cruise missiles fly away. Who could say no to that?

Welcome to DCS Pilot Training with the C-101EB.

Your goal is to depart Sukhumi proceed Direct to the Senaki (TSK), Kobuleti (KBL), and Batumi (BTM) TACAN Stations and do a visual recovery to Batumi.  However it is DCS and if you do not meet your objectives you will be shot down : )

So I wanted to make a simple mission where I'd be able to have a fun, not too complicated flight with the F-14B and use the new TARPS reconnaissance pod that we got recently. This is mostly a mission where you takeoff from the Supercarrier in 1988, fly to your waypoints, take photos of suspected Soviet deliveries of T-55 tanks and BMP-2s, (sound effects included) then fly back to the carrier and land. If you perform the mission correctly, you get an idea of the pictures you took right after your plane comes to a stop on the deck of USS Theodore Roosevelt.

A mission to sharpen your TACAN air navigation abilities with random-generated TACAN approaches. This mission assumes that you know the principles of TACAN nav, and gives you ample opportunities to perfect them: approach a TACAN on the designated radial and keep within 1 degree to pass.

This single/multiplayer mission supports all TACAN-capable modules

Endless mission, fully server compatible.

This little mission is a practice mission to fly into and land on Kolkhi using instruments, ILS and TACAN with ATC approval.
You will start NW of Kolkhi heading to Zeni which is one of the  Entry/Exits of Kolkhi airport.
Open the kneeboard (Shift-K) and page down to the map to see the 4 possible entry/exit routes out of Kolkhi.
Once past Zeni ATC will Radio that they have a visual and you can request landing.
By that time you will need to have reduced speed and using your HSI be on approach to the runway.
