The DCS: Persian Gulf Map for DCS World focuses on the Strait of Hormuz, the strategic choke point between the oil-rich Persian Gulf and the rest of the world. The DCS: Normandy 1944 Map takes players right to the heart of the World War II Battle for France. Focused on the Allied breakout in the weeks following the colossal June 6 D-Day landings, the DCS: Normandy 1944 map brings this period of intense and bloody conflict into astonishing life.

The Nevada Test and Training Range (NTTR) has the largest contiguous air and ground space available for peacetime military operations in the free world. Covering an area roughly the size of Germany, the NTTR land area includes simulated air defense systems, mock airbases, and several target ranges. The NTTR was also used for nuclear testing. Today, it is home to RED FLAG and other military exercises that pit pilots and other military personnel from around the world against each other in simulated but highly-realistic aerial combat.
The NTTR map for DCS World includes Nellis AFB, Creech AFB and the Top Secret facility at Groom Lake AFB (aka Area 51).
