Welcome to our 2021 Lunar Sale, which starts today on our eshop and will run until the 15th of February at 15:00GMT. In addition and for the whole period of the sale, please enjoy all the aircraft and maps that we have to offer for free. We are pleased to introduce six new fantastic campaigns which are available for purchase and download.

We would like to share a development report on our DCS: F/A-18C Hornet. We are currently working towards an impressive update, new features will include Ground Moving Target (GMT) and SEA radar modes. This update will also include new defense systems and the Transmit Designate (TXDSG) option on the Situational Awareness display, as well as greatly expanded defensive systems like countermeasure programs and electronic warfare capabilities. 

With the enormous changes in technology and the broad improvements we are planning, please be aware that Windows 7 will no longer be supported as of the release of DCS World 2.7 which we hope to be releasing in the coming months. We will of course be informing you well in advance when a firm date is finalised.

2020 was a tough year for most and a challenging one for Eagle Dynamics too. Despite COVID-19, we managed to release several products and core improvements which we hope were up to your expectations.

We have released an update to the stable edition of DCS World, all features added to Open Beta 2.5.6 since the 9th of October have now been thoroughly tested and are ready for deployment. 

Our Winter Sale 2020 has started and will run until the 11th of January. On Steam, the sale will start on the 22nd of December and end on the 5th of January. We are pleased to announce an additional ‘Free to Play’ period starting on the 22nd of December, giving you access to all aircraft and terrains from our e-Shop and Steam for two weeks.

Our DCS: P-47D Thunderbolt will be moving to release state in the coming update. This remarkably rugged and dependable aircraft offers superb gameplay over our World War II battlefields, especially as it was a successful escort fighter and highly-effective ground attack aircraft.
