A fun set of challenges for WW II aircraft to test your flying skills.

• Version 1.1 - Moved landing zone immediately past the last gate at the airfield, to prevent the "fail" message from appearing after a successful mission.

Challenge missions to navigate WW II-era aircraft using only visual references and/or dead reckoning.

Version 2 - Corrected several audio file errors and added better large route maps.
Version 3 - Added route maps for random missions; corrected frequencies for German aircraft
Version 4 - Corrected altitude restrictions for missions 9 and 10 to use "meters" instead of "feet"
Version 5 - Added altitude restrictions to random missions that are flown with overcast skies (you must fly within the clouds)

This livery was inspired by JG3 F-2 109s during Operation Barbarossa in 1941. To install: open the RAR file, and drag and drop the "BF-109 F2 JG3 Operation Barbarossa 1941" folder into your Disk:\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\Bf-109K-4. Your flight leader has a sixth sense about where in the Marianas enemy U-Boats have surfaced. If you follow his lead and stay close, he will lead you to Das Boot.  

When you find a U-boat, they will only stay surfaced long enough to haul in their dirty laundry before diving away. Eventually even the slowest U-boat crew will rig the ship to dive.  If the U-boat dives away before you can sink it, the flight leader is really good at finding another one.

The mission includes all the current WWII era aircraft.  You can also fly this mission in any aircraft if add them in the mission file. The WWII asset pack is strongly recommended, but not required ( see customizing below ).

1) Serial no. 2409: One of the six I-16 from 24th Chungtui, IVth Tatui, who took part to the first fighting versus the Zeroes from the Yokoyama unit, near Chungking on 13 September 1940.
2) Serial no. 94, Chinese Nationalist Air Force, 1938. This plance belongs to the Xinjiang Province Air Forces who donated this aircraft for the country.
3) Several Chinese Nationalist Air Force I-16 were captured by Japanese Troops and test flown...

It's early 1941, and most of the Luftwaffe has been transferred to the eastern front.  This opportunity can't be passed up.  Britain is now going on the offensive with bombing raids of their own across the channel.
