This Reduced Version of "The Serpents Head" is a five mission F18C Campaign. It is only to be used if you do not have the Nevada Map. If you do you should use the full version. The Campaign is story line based and follows the progress of “Ford” (yourself) and his involvement in a new conflict in the Caucasus Region. As in 2008 this is once again in the beleaguered area of Ossetia and Gori. This conflict is gathering pace at an alarming rate such that the West have sent in a multinational force to the Black Sea in the form of some ground forces but primarily a naval fleet with the USS John C Stennis at its heart. We join “Ford” on the way to the Stennis just after completing an aerial refuel 154 miles from the carrier.
(THE FOLLOW UP "THE SERPENT'S HEAD 2 CAMPAIGN" IS NOW AVAILABLE FROM DCS. It continues "Fords" story and consists of 10 missions all fully voiced by actors. It is VR friendly and there is also an option for easy A2A.

Adds a 2 POS Slider switch (I use on my X56) speedbrake command to the F/A-18C, F-16CM, A-10C. F-14B, JF-17 (this one replaces the T3 down command), and AV-8B N/A. Just delete the aircraft you don't have/want. OvGME ready.

The RAAF Albatross Pack includes 12 individual paint schemes inspired by the MB-326, Hawk 127 & Jindivik in RAAF service. Different time periods have also been represented from circa 1970s to present day. The RAAF never operated the L-39C, making this pack entirely fictional.

Russia has purchased multiple USAF aircraft at an Iraqi yard sale. 4 A-10A's and 2 F-15C's are scheduled to be displayed as war trophies at a military parade tomorrow morning. A strike to destroy these aircraft has been authorized. Tonight, you and Chips will conduct that strike.

Deny Putin his prize.

A basic night strike mission against parked aircraft using PP and TOO bombing modes with a Case III landing.

This is an all purpose Carrier landing and refueling practice mission that includes F-18, F14, AV8B Harrier, Su-33, UH1-H, and Mi8. You will be able to start on the carrier deck via cold or hot start. you may also start airborn behind a tanker or 5-10 NM behind the carrier's. I have also setup all aircarft as client vehicles so you may practice with friends, Included in the mission breifing are carrier landing pattern examples. (Requires Super Carrier)
