This is not a comfortable position the front line is in. Yes, we have captured Gudauta. Unfortunately, we have only been able to establish roughly 10KM of security between the runway and the front line due to shortage of supplies. They hope to try and push us out. Instead of pushing too far without supplies, command has decided to bunker down until we can get more delivered. We have also heard of a planned attack from the enemy soon.

My mission will be to provide SEAD/DEAD for Major Morozov. His mission is to use BetAB-500ShP to take Sukhumi's runway out of commission. They have ground attack capable aircraft stationed at the airfield.  The Major said I should focus on destroying the track radar. Once the track radar is down, we should have free rein to attack Sukhumi. Once all my anti-radiation missiles have been expended, I have the option to help the front line or attack SAM launchers and stationary aircraft.

We have pushed the enemy back about 20KM to allow us to use Bzyb' without getting shelled by artillery. Our next objective is to capture the airport of Gudauta. Once we capture this airport, it will allow us to have a base of operation in the area. The Major went out to recon early this morning right before sunrise. They have a lookout tower that needs to be taken out so they won't have eyes on our convoy. Roughly 8KM NE of Gudauta, four artillery pieces are set to shell any units assaulting Gudauta. The Major said there was a soldier with a MANPADS in the area protecting the artillery unit. Once my objectives have been met, the Major said I should take out as many hostile units as possible to help out the ground forces and then RTB. There is also two Mi-24Ps assaulting Gudauta Airfield to help soften the area.

Some time in August, a war broke out between Georgia and the breakaway region of Abkhazia. There has been a lot of desire to help Abkhazia since a lot of us take our leave a long the coast of the region. Due to global politics, we have been denied the chance to help them. Also due to politics, it has kept the Georgian military fr om crossing the river into Bzyb. The Georgian military's incompetence gave us the right to strike back. A stray artillery round from Georgia have killed a Russian soldier.

Major Morozov: I will be taking off at 0700 wh ere I will wait in orbit until given a request for SEAD. Once requested I will take out the SA-2 radars to allow the Lieutenant to clear a the path and landing site of our Mi-8. Once you have completed that take out other Georgian military assets. Be warned Lieutenant, there are AAA and MANPADS the area, so be on the look out.

Task: Mi-8 will land NW of Pitsunda, ensure all threats are eliminated so they are able to land.

The mission can be completed using any jet or helicopter. The following aircraft are selectable during the mission: A-10C II, AV-8B, F-14A, F-14B, F-15E SE4+, F-16C, F/A-18C, JF-17, Su-25T, Su-33, Su-34, AH-64D, Ka-50 III, Mi-24P.

Fly random combat sorties or in a flight training mode for all your aircraft types.  Great for learning new aircraft, or quick starting random fights. This mission allows you to select any aircraft you own in the game via the F10 radio menu and fly either random air to ground , air to air or training missions.  The enemy spawns are always in random locations and are historically accurate targets based on the players current aircraft service life. This mission contains all the current maps.
