It’s a misty summers afternoon on the Stennis. The visibility at low level is not good and there is a 15-knot wind from the south. You, Ford, have just dropped into the cockpit of your Hornet f18C. You are about to carry out your Weapons Deployment Practice Sortie.  

This one sortie will test your ability to deploy various weapons in various ways , the operation of the radio, the execution of JTAC protocols and the entry of coordinates for target locations both whilst on the ground and flying, You will need to navigate in poor visibility caused by low level mist using Tacan, Runway headings and ( in the case of the carrier only) ICSL. This whilst landing both at a land base ( for rearming and refuelling) and returning to the carrier. Oh, and there will be a cross wind at the air base, and you never no there could be an airborne interception !

Air Strike on Iranian Senior Military Officer Meetings

Objectives:
Bomb Iranian Senior Military Staff Meeting Locations


These high-level meetings are taken place in several locations within the cities of Charak and Jenah.  Both of these cities are small and meeting locations are set among the local homes and businesses so not to draw attention.  Iranian ground forces are present; we have JTAC personnel in place to confirm that all parties are present before the strike command is given.

Intel confirmed that military build-up, sale of oil and the development of nuclear, biological, chemical delivery systems will be key items covered in these meetings.

This is VERSION 2.0 of this mission to utilize the newly released Mavericks.

US army UH-1V(H) of the Multi National Force and Observers. Sinai. This one is circa 1985 crewed by 101st airborne out of the South Camp at Sharm el Sheikh. My Brother was crew chief on this one actually and it has some special markings for that deployment.. if one looks closely..

6 Mission A/G and Anti-ship combat campaign with mission progress taken good care off by sound effects and messages as well as results. Consisting of 2 main objectives. The last being a safe return to base, without which player will be unable to advance BUT without setting him back or having to restart the campaign from scratch. ***FIXES*** Mission 3 - Only one Show of Force pass NOT two. Mission 4 - Reduced to minimum enemy Corvette AI and changed loadout to Harpoons. Mission 5 - Reduced enemy assault ships group AI. Mission 6 - Fixed Tanker Radio issue.
