This Foohhold mission is based of the original versions of Caucasus and Syria by DZSEKEB

In this persistent dynamic campaign, your goal is to move through the map and capture all zones from the enemy.

As you capture some areas, you will unlock benefits for your coalition such as friendly air patrols, or new spawn positions. Beware as the enemy will also launch attacks to retake what was once theirs.

The goal is to capture all zones.

I have created a training mission to practice a teardrop landing approach as documented in the Flight Manual for the BS3 (which you can download here at DCS).  In this mission you aim to fly through the gates at 90° to the wind (122°) blowing from the direction of Dubai International Airport.  You have the wind on your right. As you approach you try to maintain that 90° direction (Heading 32°) to fly over the helipad. Once there you turn left at a 60° angle so end up heading at an angle of 30° off the downwind direction (332°). You follow this for around 2km and then start turning in towards your final approach direction of 122°. Lower your gear and start lowering your speed but dont exceed a VSI of 2-5. Try to land gently on or near the helipad.

This is a Skin for KA-50 Shark 3 in honor of the BLUE THUNDER series
This was one of those series that had a fleeting passage on our televisions, but even so, many still remember it both in Portugal and in Brazil, where there are those who remember it with nostalgia. Blue Thunder was derived fr om a film of the same name, had only 11 episodes and one season that did not have the same success as the film.

The film Blue Thunder premiered in 1983 and had Roy Scheider as the main star, who had some success with his story and action scenes and ABC then decided to launch a series using the helicopter with it and thus capitalize on the buzz of the film.

The helicopter used in the film was an Aeropatiale SA-341G Gazelle, modified with an Apache-style canopy. Two helicopters were purchased by Columbia Pictures (one was kept on the ground as a reserve for filming), wh ere it was heavily modified for the film by Hughes.

This is a semi-fictional painting representing an O Mi-35M Hind helicopter, called AH-2 Saber in the FAB deactivated in the year 2022. Skin made for the KA-50.
