The 16th Separate Army Aviation Brigade "Brody" named after Colonel Igor Mazepa (16th OBrAA, military unit A2595) is an army aviation unit of the Ground Forces of Ukraine. The brigade is based in Brody, Lviv region.

In 2016, a school class of Israeli children is on a fieldtrip to Jerusalem. On their way home their bus is stopped by a group of armed fighters and abducted to the West Bank.
Authorities are quickly informed and a ground based rescue team as well as an Apache helicopter (“Splitter”) are scrambled for a rescue operation.

The DCS Mod of the MH-60R is based on the aircraft used by the HSM 51 “Warlords” squadron:

Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron Five One (HSM-51) "WARLORDS" is a United States Navy helicopter squadron based at the Naval Air Facility Atsugi, Ayase City, Kanagawa Prefecture , Honshu, Japan.

18th Separate Brigade of Army Aviation (named after Igor Sikorsky), was established in February 2015. In fact, the unit considers October 1 as its birthday, when the first Mi-8MSB-V helicopter appeared. The unit was formed on the basis of the 215th aviation commandant's office (military unit A2673) of the Air Force of Ukraine, which was a reserve airfield for fighters of the 831st Myrhorod Brigade. The brigade became the fourth such unit of army aviation within the Ground Forces of Ukraine.
