Introducing a fictional livery for the A-10 Warthog in the Digital Combat Simulator (DCS), proudly representing the Imperial Iranian Air Force (IIAF).

While established in 1977, the 254th ‘Road Runners’ trace their lineage back to the 1940s with the 2774th Fighter Group of the same name, which flew P-47 Thunderbolts in the Ground attack role against Belkan forces during the conflict. Now, eighty years later,  the OA-10s of the 245th bear similar markings and the notable red and white checkered pattern to honor their tank busting heritage.

As a Tactical Air Support Squadron, the Road Runners Primary mission is Forward Air Control, marking targets for other A-10s to attack. While not officially used, the term ‘Fast FAC’, adorns many pieces of squadron esprit de corps, in reference to the first pilots assigned to the 254th who had been Fast FAC F-4 pilots during Verusea.

Today the Road Runners operate out of Shiloh, and have deployed both in Yuktobania and Verusea to support OADF operations in both theatres.

Have you ever wanted to bomb an evil terrorist, while he’s taking a sh*t and blow him together with his toilet to hell and back? Well, then this is your mission!

Special Agent, a CIA member on well-earned holiday in Cyprus, has been taken fr om his hotel room in the middle of the night and driven to a sleepy airbase, wh ere an old greek A-10 Thunderbolt is waiting for him, to carry out an urgent mission, that cannot wait. His boss, Foreign Affairs Coordinator, needs his skills to take down a well-known international evil scientist of biological warfare - Dr. Bakterius - who is currently hiding in Syria with his entourage. There is a one-and-only chance to kill him now during a public truck race in Hama, amidst a civilian audience of hundreds of spectators, while he is going to the toilet for a few minutes.

What started as a simple and easy bombing run, turns out to become Special Agent’s longest day, for everything goes wrong and things are not exactly as has been told.

updated version 2a - A custom training map featuring enemy F-15 F-16 and JF-17 with SD10 and AIM120 missiles - your job is to use the map to spawn in one enemy at a time (from easy to hard) and to try to survive their missile. The Airfield and Area around is well defended. 100 & 57 mm guns, various short range SAM systems, Armor / Light Armor, patrolling Technicals , Heli`s and Infantry. 2 artillery squads and 1 Scud squad with their own air defences. Village with roadblock and supply point 10 miles southeast of the Airfield. Friendly Scout squads are located close to the front, enemy Heli`s are out hunting for them.
