The 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron is a squadron of the 6th Air Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JSDAF) based at Komatsu Air Base, in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is equipped with Mitsubishi F-15J/DJ and Kawasaki T-4 aircraft. This skin is a 'What If' the JSDF somehow, for some reason, had the F-15 S/MTD as a front-line tactical fighter.

This skin is based off F-15J 52-8951 assigned to the 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron based at Komatsu Air Base in Ishikawa, Japan. The Aircraft bears markings of the F/A-18E Super Hornet Tom Cruise's character flies in the movie Top Gun Maverick, in preparation for the upcoming Air Festival at Komatsu on September 19, 2022.
