A loose recreation of the RAAF F/A-18A Hornet A21-27 which has been specially painted for the 100th anniversary of 3 Squadron. Included is a clean and weathered version 
 
The scheme represents 3SQN 2nd highest ACE, Wing Commander Robert “Bobby” Gibbes. 
The aircraft code CV-V was used on different type aircraft but its best known on the P-40E Kittyhawk (desert Scheme) used by Bobby.

Updated to include correct titles in description file.

another fix exists but this one is easier to install and is not affected by DCS updates so you dont have to reinstall it after every update.

A Pleasant Evening Patrol F18 (Rev1 18Nov18)

Due to the recent problems in this part of the country a force of F18s have been stationed temporarily at Kutaisi. Their mission to patrol the area and provide support to friendly ground forces as required.
This morning, as part of this force, you flew your F18C from Kutaisi on a patrol through the mountains which concluded at the Mineralyne Vody air base. It was a quiet patrol with nothing to report however the scenery and weather was epic.
It is now 7.30pm on this beautiful June evening and you are looking forward to your return patrol taking you once again through this wonderful scenery.
Should be another quiet lazy trip back to Kutaisi then?
The mission is fully voiced.

Today the President is over flying Creech Air Base and then landing at Groom Lake Air Base for a base visit.
Your mission is to pilot your F18 and accompany the flight and protect the President .

RAAF Worimi Hornet (WIP)

The Royal Australian Air Force showed its appreciation and commitment to the past service and sacrifices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with the unveiling of the ‘Worimi’ F/A-18A Hornet (A21-23) on February 24 2015. 
 
The aircraft’s unique colour scheme was stenciled with WOFF Len Water’s - RAAF's first known Aboriginal fighter pilot - pilot markings and the livery was designed by Australian design studio Balarinji. The artwork depicts a Kilyarr Kilyarr, the Wedge-tail Eagle, a powerful bird of prey which dominates the skies over Australia’s land and seascapes.
