This Sabre was allocated to 2nd Lt Jim Thompson as part of the 51stFW 39thFS
in the spring of 1953. It had been flown by various pilots prior to this.
He used it to down two Mig 15's in May and June of that year.
The first Mig he shot down had a large dragon painted on it and
US intelligence determined it had probably been flown by a high
ranking Russian pilot.
As a result the fighters asst crew chief, Sgt J W "Bill" Manney, painted
the large dragon on the aircraft to commemorate the victory.

A demo mission for my (eventually) upcoming 10 mission campaign. The campaign will take place during a fictional conflict in Korea where you will be flying the KF-16C as part of the South Korean 19th Fighter Wing in both A/A and A/G missions. This mission will involve you and your wingman intercepting a flight of North Korean MiGs that are making a beeline for a South Korean Airliner.
This is the first mission i've ever uploaded, so if theres an issue please tell me and i'll do my best to correct it!

This package contains 2 JASDF liveries from the 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron:
- Airframe 93-8548 as it was painted for TAC Meet in 2010.
- Airframe 03-8555 with standard 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron livery.
These liveries stencils are adapted for the F-16 as i think it's more relevant than a straight copy of the F-2 stencils.
