Step in your Spangdahlem Viper (board #417) and get ready for your next sortie...
Today you'll fly CAS over the city of Homs, in aid to our allied troops. Hammer6 will provide SEAD cover and Chalice5 will be active GCI.

Duration ±1 to 1,5hour
Difficulty average
ATC is mainly done semi-automatic (player input is sometimes asked)
AAR is optionally (or a must if you're AB happy)
Some TGP skills will enhance the experience
Incirlik can be a bit performance heavy, but the rest of the mission is very VR friendly (I only tested in VR)

- 3 Supercarriers
- 3 Tankers
- 45 F/A-18C client slots
- 20 F-14B client slots
- 15 F-14A client slots
- Various AI carrier traffic
All with different positions, heading, altitudes, fuel states, frequencies, TACAN/ICLS codes.. To keep you focused...

This mission might give you some more CASE III variety and challenge than the default CASE III mission that comes with the Supercarrier module. It'll also force you to use and rely on your cockpit instruments.

If you're not familiar with CASE III procedures, I recommend to use "Supercarrier Reference Kneeboards" by GTFreeFlyer (also here in the user files section)

Insurgent forces have entered the Syrian-Israeli DMZ. They seem to be preparing a defense force to occupy the entire DMZ. Syria denies any involvement, however they also don't support military action.

Israel has decided to attack the enemy before they gain any further in strength. Together with 124th squadron, you'll join this massive attack and show of force.

Mission duration: ±30-45 minutes (depending on play style)
Mission difficulty: Easy to moderate (depending on play style)
No mods required
No SC required
Syria required (obviously)

Operation Inherent Resolve - Juli 28th 2015

You are based at Incirlik AB (Turkey) as part of CJTF-OIR.
Intelligence recently discovered an insurgent training camp 25nm south-east of Aleppo city (bullseye). The enemy activities in and around this camp, have been closely monitored for the past couple of days. Proof has been gathered that the bunker (as shown on the satellite pictures) is used for ammo and explosives storage.

Your flight package is tasked with the attack on this camp.

Mission duration: ±1 hour
Mission difficulty: Easy
No mods required
No SC required
No loadout restrictions (feel free to change)
Syria map required (obviously)

(My idea is, to port this mission over to the Viper, once the Viper is more feature complete)

DCS Syria helipad locations

VERSION 1.4.9 June 6th 2021 - Cyprus helipad locations added - (awaiting VOR/NDB information)

IP markers placed on all (±150) currently known Syria map helipad locations for easy use in the mission editor

How to use:
Simply open the "DCS_Syria_Helipad_Locations.miz" with the mission editor and add your own helo's where you want.

Notes:
- Obviously OB version 2.7 is required if you want to see/use the new helipads
- Unfortunately some of the new helipads have not been implemented correctly yet. In some cases you won't be able to place your helicopter on the platform. This has been reported to Ugra Media

OPERATION HELPING HAND

v2.0 (2021/3)

Allied forces are under heavy attack. They need supplies and reinforcements in order to survive.

You'll start from FARP TKAYA, approximately 6nm NE from the target area. Your task is to support our troops in Chuburhindzhi village (CAMP CHARLIE), just into Abkhazia territory. Reinforcement tanks are en route, but still about 45 minutes out. The mission objective, is to suppress all attacking enemy ground forces long enough, for these reinforcements to arrive.

You're free to choose on slingloading supplies to the front to activate support units, insert anti tank and mortar teams and/or take on the enemy forces by yourself...

Mission difficulty can be considered medium to moderate
Mission duration is ±30-60mins (depending choices/skill level)
No mods required
Excellent for training your skills
Mission created with intend of high level action, atmosphere and replay-ability
Comms will be done semi-auto and with radio F10

SAM valley V1.2
A single player mission for the AV-8B including AAR (optional), low level, high speed flying though the valley's of Ingury and Baksan river and bombing a highly defended enemy command bunker.

Difficulty is moderate/high
Some basic evasive flying skills might be required
Duration is about 1 hour (so ideal for people with not too much spare time)
No mods required
Loadout and fuel qty can be changed at will to avoid having to do AAR (you only need to damage the bunker for mission success)
For some extra difficulty you could edit the mission to nighttime
Feel free to share, alter, redistribute etc.
