P-51D 44-13906 with reg. number N2-B, this particular aircraft is very special to me,

The aircraft was flown by 2nd Lt Stanley M Pettengill, he was a member of the 8th Airforce, 364th FG, 383rd Fighter Squadron.
The squadron was stationed at RAF Honington in England.

During a mission on 1944-11-06 "Doc" had a mechanical problem and crashed ( here in my living place 'Beemster', 20km North of Amsterdam, in The Netherlands )
after Lt Pettengill bailed out safely.
Unfortunately Lt Pettengill was captured by the Germans and became a POW, but he survived the war.

USAF_45th-Tactical-Recon-Sqn_CY-D_Miss Velma - Version II is the updated version of the standard P-51D livery of Miss Velma by ED.

Miss Velma:

Built too late to see combat service in World War Two,
P-51D 44-84847 was one of the last Mustangs constructed at North American Aviation’s Dallas, Texas, plant.
Details of her post war service career are limited, but there is photographic evidence, from September 1951,
of her serving with the 45th Tactical Reconnaissance Squadron at Kimpo, South Korea, during the Korean War.

Updated skinpack of the standard RNLAF livery by ED, I edited the description file and the used spec files are for optimum display.

The Tail Spec texture file is an updated version of the uh1_tail_spec file which was included in the Ace Combat 4, Independent State Allied Forces UH-1H skinpack by TheMrSir46.

So, credits for the spec files go to TheMrSir46.

Royal Netherlands Airforce F-104G - D-8331 1979 demo livery for the VSN F104 Mod.

Inspired by the skinpack created by m0j0NL for the VSN F-104G Starfighter, I created this livery.

The D-8331 as flown by Capt. Hans van der Werf during the Air Force Days in Sept. 1979
He was the RNLAF Starfighter demo pilot for 6 years and was well known for showing the Starfighters brutal force, speed and beauty !

Special on the D-8331, the designated demo airframe are:

On the tail, the 312 Squadron batch as well as the Red, White and Blue Dutch flag.
A prominent Sharkmouth that was fitted to the D-8331.
Six F104 outlines on the right side of the aircraft above the D of D-8331 represent the six years that Capt. H vd Werf was the Starfighter display pilot of the RNLAF.
Also the Lion Batch of 315 Squadron is fitted on the left rear part of the fuselage, a symbolisation of the Air Force Days at Twente Air Base, the home of 315 Squadron.
