May 1986 marked the beginning of the next significant period for the 116th Tactical Fighter Wing with the arrival of the first F-15A. It would also be the longest time the 128th Tactical Fighter Squadron would remain in a single model of any aircraft – slightly over nine years. The unit participated in many deployments during the Eagle years. Tough to get everything right given the limited pics. Custom flight suit patch. All comments/suggestions welcome.

VX-4 was based at NAS Pt. Mugu from 1952-1994, when their airframes and assets were merged into VX-9. This aircraft, XF-33, carried multiple paint schemes during its lifetime. This represents the short-lived scheme VX-4 carried in 1974. Includes custom pilot helmets, flightsuits, and drop tank textures (fictional). All comments/questions welcome.
