The 306th Tactical Fighter Squadron is a squadron of the 6th Air Wing of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force (JSDAF) based at Komatsu Air Base, in Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan. It is equipped with Mitsubishi F-15J/DJ and Kawasaki T-4 aircraft. This skin is a 'What If' the JSDF somehow, for some reason, had the F-15 S/MTD as a front-line tactical fighter.

This is the first in a group of three missions that covers the attack of a fictitious enemy force of regiment size against a small force supported by attack helicopters.

The intention of these missions is to provide a good multiplayer experience for a group of 3-6 players flying any of the available helicopters. Note, as only one of my gaming friends owns the AH-64 it is not featured in the missions but can be added easily. The missions take place on the Caucasus and should provide a real challenge. I have added random scripts to the missions so that the enemy will not always appear in the same place or head for the same objectives. For the first and third missions the enemy is a tank and IFV/APC force so having Ka-50 or Mi-24's is a must. It is unlikely that you will succeed with only the Gazelle.

Persian Gulf Dynamic Theater randomly generates a structured frontline, with a tasking system and AI flights [WIP].
I have been working on this mission for about a month adding bits and pieces and, while it's still a WIP, I think its ready to launch.

See the screenshot for an idea of what to expect.

Every flight is carrying out its own purpose, helos dropping troops and moving cargo, attack flights, strike flights and CAP all fill the map with life.
200+ units give plenty to do!

VF-33 was originally known as the Tarsiers, then the Astronauts for a short time, then Tarsiers again, and the squadron ended its life as the Starfighters. They flew a diverse range of aircraft, from the F4U Corsair to the F-14A Tomcat. The squadron was disestablished in 1993
Prior to the F-14 and during the Vietnam War, their aircraft was the F-4 Phantom, and their 1972 scheme is probably my favorite ever applied to the F-4.
