Hi DCS fans.

THIS IS A CLEANUP of warheads.lua for DCS World 2.5, and it is compatible with OvGME.


The "warhead.lua" file, obviously well concieved at one time, had been patched too many times... and was becomming too broken to be just "patched", ending up with some weapons completely inneffective !

As it is, this cleanup MOD, gives more REALISM to weapons. Weapons that are not optimized for one kind of target will be unable to destroy it (or at least not with ease). The new functions use MORE REAL DATA. There is NO MORE DOUBLE STANDARD between function (for example between A2A weapons and Bombs or rockets)

For those who don't like it as it is, I've added MODIFIERS FOR QUICKLY MODIFYING DIFFERENT VARIABLES for all warhead

Wallpaper and music module, for keeping your custom wallpapers and title music from being overwritten by DCS updates. All other modules will remain intact.
Install to ...Saved Games\DCS\_MODS for JSGME activation.
Put your wallpapers into ...Saved Games\DCS\_MODS\wallpaper\Mods\aircraft\wallpaper\Skins\1\ME
and rename as "base-menu-window.png"
Put music files into the wallpaper\Mods\aircraft\wallpaper\Sounds\EditorMusic folder and rename as MainMenuIn, MainMenuLoop. Music must be in .ogg format.

Your mission if you choose to accept is to destroy Batumi Harbor defenses and then after rearming, return to destroy enemy shipping. (Revised version)

This mission requires the "3-Ship USS Arleigh Burke Class" mod by Markindel (1-26-16 version, includes the USS_Cole) which can be downloaded from DCS Downloads>user files.  Add the folder to the "saved games/DCS openbeta/mods/tech" folder and/or “saved games/DCS/mods/tech” folder depending on which simulation you are using.

For those who enjoy the flying part as much as the shooting part....

Ferry your aircraft from Tbilisi to Kutaisi. Refuel at Kutaisi then fly to the Stennis for recovery.

This flight will exercise both your IFR flying skills as well as your use of the navigation equipment of your Hornet.  In addition your ability to land aboard the carrier in foul weather will be tested.

There are two hornets available for launch on the Stennis for abbreviated fun play.

Mods required
USN Equipment mod, search this in user files on DCS website

Rename your Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\Kneeboards Folder to kneeboards_orig - hides the Caucasus kneeboard maps.

The mission has all the required maps and plates on your kneeboard, Mission Card, Charts and Case2 diagram, all put together with CombatFlight.
