In 1955, No.2 (Fighter) Wing, based at Gros Tenquin, France, provided aircraft for a RCAF aerobatics team called the Sky Lancers. This was the debut year for the team and the paint scheme was essentially a Sky Lancers logo painted over top of a standard operational fighter scheme.
Aircraft coded BH-310, of No. 430 (Silver Falcon) Sqn, RCAF. Flown by F/O B.R. Campbell, who later flew with the Golden Hawks.
