The P-51D Mustang "Gunfighter" flown by Brig Gen (ret) Regis Urschler takes part in the recreaton of "Tora, Tora, Tora" for the audience at Luke Days Air Show. The P51 Mustang was one of the most effective planes of World War Two. The Mustangs provided bombers fighter cover over Europe greatly assisted the bombing campaign against Germany in World War Two. The air show is a two-day event at Luke Air Force Base that coincides with the 60th anniversary of the U.S. Air Force. The events feature the U.S. Air Force's Aerial Demonstration Team, the Thunderbirds as well as numerous other aircraft and a re-enactment of an aerial battle.
