Great Apache AH-64D mission for beginners or experts. Blue has landed a strike force at Batumi. Red is caught off guard. The ground team is in place and awaiting armor moving up the coast. Your job is to escort them to the airfield. At which point you are free to explore the battlefield.
NOTE: The weather is wonderfully atrocious! It's raining sideways! This makes for a very immersive mission with a lot of fun flying. Your bird is loaded lightly for short, close in support, and this makes it easier to handle in the storm and the close quarters.
This is the start of a campaign I am working on. I hope you enjoy and get some good mission building ideas from it.
You are part of a small, Blue strike force that has landed at Batumi. Armor is expected to move up from the south. Head down there and escort them to the airfield. Then join the fight. Red is expected to throw a mixed bag of units at us until they can mount a stronger reaction.
