The action of this fictional campaign takes place during the period 2012 in the Persian Gulf !
This the 2nd mission, of this series for the mirage F1. But this mission can be downloaded for any plane because there is a "client SU-25T". If you want to play it with an another plane, you have just to change the plane type "tiger 1" (you). The radio set are on your kneeboards.
The scenario predicts that the situation between the United Arab Emirates and Iran is deteriorating. Without a territorial agreement, a “no man’s land” sets in and competing oil companies grant each other concessions and no foreign power wishes to engage in these private conflicts.

Since your arrival at AL Ain airport (mission 1), the F1 mirages which were acquired by the Kraken group have been "make up".
Repainting, verification of armament, grouping of pilots into squadrons... in short, the facilities at Al Ain airport made it possible to form a fighter group.
In order to deter any aggression against oil installations on the peninsula, the Khasab base, closest to the border, was chosen to deploy the Kraken mirage group. Mission 2 "heading Khasab" consists of flying to this base according to an established flight plan. You will fly in formation with a two-seater mirage "Cougar" which will be the leader of the patrol. At waypoint 3, it is planned to regroup with an F1 CE mirage, callsign “Jaguar”.
The 3 planes must carry out a demonstration mission, to attack a fictitious target at low altitude located on the island of Sir Abu Nuayr (waypoint 5). Many observers are present on site for this “show of force” by the Kraken group.
After passing at low altitude you will have to return to the coast (waypoint 6) to regroup the patrol and then fly towards Khasab to land on the base. The approach must be made in accordance with the approach procedures given by air traffic control by making an approach arc in relation to the Tacan Khasab beacon. On final you can use your ILS.
The parking lot that will be allocated to you is number 13.
The mission is accomplished if you park safe at parking 13 at Khasab airbase.
The missions of this campaign will be progressive. This mission 2 requires mastery of the following procedures: Taxi procedures,
Takeoff, formation flight according to flight plan, change of radio frequencies, VOR beacon navigation, approach according to orders from an air traffic controller, ATIS consultation, and approach on a Tacan beacon with a final landing using ILS.
You can change the type of aircraft by replacing the Mirage F1 "Tiger" with the aircraft of your choice. The mission can be downloaded for all modules because an SU 25T is in "client". However, you will have to change the frequencies manually (they are all mentioned in the Kneeboards)
