Ace Combat 7 Lighthouse, made to learn how to use blender
This was made to learn how to use Blender and make mods for DCS. I decided to upload this because of the lack of time I have due to college.
Optimized as much as I can for game use, runs 60-80 fps on high preset on my rig.
There's a couple things to note:
-First, some a2a missiles pass through, specifically sidewinders and phoenixes. No idea why it happens, most likely DCS related.
-Second is MT shadow glitching, it won't happen if you're far enough or if you're using ST build.
-Third, Placement of units. You'll need to place the Lighthouse on ground to make placements of units possible, ideally on an island.
-Fourth, AI. the AI will chug your game if they come too close to the lighthouse, like near or on top the base of the lighthouse near. It's AI calculating shenanigans and I
cannot properly fix that since once again, DCS related.
-Fifth, low fidelity aircraft hitboxes. No idea if it's specifically low fidelity craft or ED created craft but from my testing the F15c has collisions only up to around 10k. Once
past that the plane phases through the tower. Once again, most likely DCS shenanigans.
Besides those, please keep in mind it is not perfect but it's fully usable and perfect for both Ace Combat shenanigans and photoshoots. Tried with around 30+ ai aircraft and runs 50-70 fps as long as they don't go to the ground level of the lighthouse.
