VSN A-6A Intruder mod textures for VMA-224 Bengals
This is my texture pack for the VMA-224 Bengals for VSN's A-6A Intruder mod. This, I believe this will be a fantastic substitute until an official A-6 module is released.
I've attempted to make these skins as realistic as possible, and borrowed texture layers from VSN's other assets (F-4B Phantom), as well as created my own texture layers as well as updated normals (from my previous upload a few days ago) for this particular skin.

I'm particularly proud of these textures, I've done quite a bit of research into the VMA-224 Bengals A-6 era (as far as a Google search linked to wikipedia is concerned), and of the several images I've found I've created these textures as close to the images I've seen as possible. That being said, I opted to not include any names assigned to these specific airframes. One particular image I've seen, I've noted the same rank, same first and last name on two different real aircraft one photograph. So with that, I've opted out of included any real names assigned to any of these airframes.
I hope you all enjoy these as much as I have creating them. I personally love these skins on AI aircraft and I feel like I could look at these for hours on end (oh wait, I have).
This file contains just the Knightriders HiVis skin textures and normals for those skins. In the future I will look at creating other A-6 squadrons using VSN's mod, at least until an official module comes out or VSN says no more.
Installation:
Copy/Paste/Extract into your /Saved Games/DCS/Liveries/VSN_A6A folder. OR...
