The 391st Fighter Squadron is part of the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho. The squadron participated in combat missions in World War II and the Vietnam War, provided air defense in Korea and Japan from 1968 to 1971, and continues to provide tactical air command for the United States Air Force. It currently operates McDonnell Douglas F-15E Strike Eagle aircraft, conducting close air support missions.

This was a requested skin based on SN 90-248 "Nighthawk" that deployed to the Middle East some-time in 2019.
This skin is for the Upcoming DCS F-15E Strike Eagle Module by Razbam, and will not work with the existing F-15E in game.
Pilots wear unit-accurate patches.
Honestly I have to say this jet was the USAF's Big Foot for me, where nearly every Public Affairs picture from Mountain Home had it as grainy and blurry, and aside from one promotional poster I wasn't sure the jet existed. Thankfully there was some Aviation Enthusiast who had dedicated a webpage to 248 which saved my bacon, plus the USAF not being known for their creativity as of late for generic Aircraft.
