When you fly an aircraft in DCS after leaving it for a while, it is difficult to remember startup procedures, navigation, weapons usage, HOTAS mapping, etc. And if you mainly fly VR, you can't even fly with the manual next to you. This is why I created a summary of all the procedures as kneeboard pages. I included a ready-to-use PNG version and the original multi-layered photoshop version, so you can adjust them if needed. You will also find the VR friendly Thrustmaster Warthog mapping files I use.

In the M-2000C folder, you will find the ready-to-use PNG version of the kneeboard pages. Copy the foder to \Users\<your user>\Saved Games\DCS\Kneeboard or \Users\<your user>\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Kneeboard depending on your version.

In the Thrusmaster folder you will find the TMC file matching the mapping described in the joystick and throttle mapping kneeboard pages. This mapping is mainly the one recommended in Chuck's Guides with some adaptations for VR (as in VR you cannot use the keyboard, you need some additional mappings for actions difficult to perform in flight through cockpit buttons).

At the URL http://e.pc.cd/L4ootalK you will find the Photoshop Originals (file too big to be uploaded here)

Legend:

- These kneeboard pages are not suitable for the initial training on an aircraft (use manual), rather use them to remember the essential procedures when coming back to an aircraft you practiced before.

- When actions are numbered, perform them in the indicated order

- On throttle and joystick mapping kneeboard pages:

    - green labels are for the regular use of a button/switch/hat, blue labels are for the shifted use of a button/switch/hat (when pressing on the paddle switch at the same time as the button/switch/hat).

    - Nr means normal press on a button, Lg means long press on a button.

    - on three position switches, U means up position, M means middle position, D means down position. Also, F means Forward position, C means Center position, B means Backward position.
