We need to keep laying the hurt on the USSR forces. After reviewing AWACs footage of vehicle traffic, Intel believes they have located a large refueling dump. We are going to take it out.
Shade 1 is going to penetrate the fuel bunkers and you are going to follow-up with your Rockeyes to ignite a real firestorm.
You are going to be focused on keeping formation and not burying your aircraft so get configured prior to take-off (bombs configured, FLIR on, radar standby, HUD setup etc). Follow Shade 1 starting from taxi. There are Mainstays and Migs about but they should not be a factor. We have an E-3 with F-15 escorts up as well so make sure you have your data link and IFF on (and your lights off).
Keep in formation with Shade wingman until IP (Waypoint 5) then you are on your own. Plan for 400kts IAS once you are formed up. Tank farm is setup as Waypoint 7. Use your FLIR to track after target designating.
Our surprise will be gone after the tank farm attack so you can RTB following waypoints angles 3-5. It won’t be long until we have fighter cover during our extraction so keep your speed below 500kts IAS.
