These are just for fun, completely fictional RCAF schemes for the Tomcat. Skin redone 2023-02-10
Based on my Heat Blur Livery Competition submission, with a few additions. This one is based on the "Electric Voodoo", the last CF-101 in service.

414 Squadron was a composite unit that flew CF-100, CC-117(Falcon 20) and CF-101 Voodoo based at CFB North Bay until it was disbanded in 1992. 414 specialized in Electronic Warfare, usually testing NORAD early warning systems.
Though fictional, the F-14 was considered as a replacement for the CF-101 in the same competition that brought the RCAF the CF-18. In 1979, the CF-14 nearly became a reality following the Islamic Revolution in Iran. The Canadian government tried to persuade the Iranians that after the US embargo on American made war equipment would be difficult to service as spare parts would no longer be available. Iranian officials were willing to deal with Canada and an agreement was nearly signed, until it was discovered that Canada had been aiding in the smuggling of US officials out of Iran.
