Mission Briefing:
The 3rd Battle of the Atlantic is not going well. Our convoys are taking a beating from submarines and now from air raids. In the long term we need take back Iceland so we can intercept the bomber raids as well as get our SOSUS line back in operation. For now we need to focus on taking out Keflavik before Russia gets fighters stationed there. If they can escort there bomber raids from Keflavik into the North Atlantic our convoys are going to be in even more trouble.

Phase 1 of Nordic Hammer is B52 standoff jamming to divert radar and anti air assets while Phase 2, the F4 Wild Weasels sneak in and take out their radars and sams. You will be part of a 4 place element flying up the valleys and attack from the East.
Flight 1 will be you as Snake 1-1 and Snake 1-2 responsible for taking out the radars with anti radiation missles.
Flight 2 will be Dodge 1-1 and Dodge 1-2 responsible for bombing the same sites and any anti air assets found.
You will need to stay low in the valleys to be able to penetrate their radar systems. Get too high and they will be ready for you and you won’t make it out alive. We have carefully calculated our Time-On-Target attack for you to maintain 350kts IAS. At your IP when you turn West, advise Dodge Group via F10 menu and climb up into radar coverage and launch your missiles. Once launched, get below 500’ AGL and exit South inside the coast line. Waypoints are pre-set but keep you eyes open because visibility is not forecasted to be good.
You will have under 10 miles at altitude at the beginning of the mission to get your cockpit setup (pre combat checklist) before you need to get down to 1000’ AGL.
