Armed Blackhawk Background:
The advanced weapon system for Black Hawk® helicopters allows pilots to identify and engage static or moving targets with forward firing guns, rockets and laser-designated air-to-ground missiles.
Fully integrated with the aircraft’s digital flight controls, the weapon system calculates the range and the complex ballistics required for pilot gunners to hit targets with high accuracy and reliability from stand-off distances during day and night operations.
The weapon system brings a cost-effective attack capability to third generation Black Hawk® aircraft while fully retaining the platform’s multi-role utility. Ground crews can add or remove external wings and weapons of choice in three hours.
Sikorsky qualified the weapon system to U.S. military airworthiness standards in 2017 after extensive live fire flight testing. The system is now operational with the UAE.
Militaries can acquire the weapon system with new Black Hawk aircraft acquired direct from Sikorsky, or as a kit retrofitted onto already-fielded third generation aircraft by a Sikorsky-qualified modification center.

Installation Instructions:
This mod requires the UH-60L mod and Miniguns mods to be installed FIRST

1) Kïnkküjüüstövöïlëïpä's UH-60L mod v1.3.1
https://github.com/Kinkkujuustovoileipa/uh-60l

2) Tanuki44's Pilot-Copilot - Miniguns - Jettison - for UH-60L Mod - Version 2.4_2_1
https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3321772/

3) After installing the above mods, copy files from this mod to your UH-60L folder in DCS World Saved Games.

Alternatively, you may install the mod via OvGME using the same install order as above.

Weapon Pylon Operation (Virtual Panel - Selection Only by Keybind):
1) Master Arm On - Added Master Arm On & Off binds in addition to the original toggle
2) Sel ect Weapon Station(s) - New Key Bind for this mod
-Left Outboard (ARM / SAFE)
-Left Inboard (ARM / SAFE)
-Right Inboard (ARM / SAFE)
-Right Outboard (ARM / SAFE)
3) Press Weapon Release Button - New Key Bind for this mod

Weapon pylons may now also be selected by a virtual rotary “switch” (new HOTAS / keybinds). Position 1 – All Safe, Position 2 – Gun pylons armed, Position 3 – Rocket pylons armed, Position 4 – Missile pylons armed, Position 5 – Torpedo pylons armed.

Updated AFMS with Jettison: Upon using Jettison All or Selective Jettison the AFMS system will now read “cccc%” indicating there are no tanks attached, and prevent the transfer of auxiliary fuel until rearmed with external tanks.

Tips:
1) Operating with a full weapons load adds significant mass to the helicopter; operating with 30% fuel or less in this configuration is recommended to maintain decent flight characteristics.
2) Deploy torpedoes low and slow.
3) Jayhawk and SeaHawk capability use the left and right gunner positions (DCS pylons), and ESSS is disabled.

Known Issues:
1) If multiple pylons have missiles (eg. Hellfires), and are armed, you may need to press the weapons release button multiple times or manually switch between weapon stations to fire missiles. This improves over previous versions, but is issue with the why pylons are “cycled” between shots, and is
most prevelent with niche layouts (eg. 12xHellfires). Arming individual pylons is unaffected. Hellfire Guidance must be fr om a buddy lase (Human JTAC or other aircraft), default code 1688, to execute a LOAL (Lock on After Launch).
2) Asymmetric payloads can cause issues with weapon firing, including:
-2.1) Activating and/or deactivating pylons is necessary to switch between multiple Hellfire pylons.
-2.2) If using an asymmetric loadout, it is recommended to sel ect the pylons with like weapons when firing, or to use individual weapons stations.
3) Using selective jettison for fuel tanks will disable the AFMS until landed and rearm/refuel complete. Thus, if you have four external tanks and attempt to selectively jettison only two of them you will lose all external fuel (but retain the physical models in game for non-jettisoned stations).
4) APKWS rockets with LAU-61 do not currently behave as fully desired and should be considered experimental. Guidance needs testing and their trajectory arcs up instead of staying straight.

CAUTION: You may need to rebind controls after installing this mod.

Enjoy,
ANDR0ID
