On August 5th, at approximately 1800 hrs, a massive explosion rocked Beirut devastating a 6 mile radius around the city’s port. The explosion was initially believed to be an industrial accident that ignited 2,700 metric tons of ammonium nitrate stored in a warehouse at the port. However, after further investigation officials have discovered traces of explosives which clearly indicate the incident was a planned attack. Following this initial explosion on August 5th, militia groups have stormed the city and taken control of the airport and other strategic facilities. Furthermore, reports indicate weapons and equipment used by the militia being traced to Russia.
*YOUR MISSION: An immediate air strike has been authorized on the militia target stronghold around the airport. Commencing at 0530
