This livery for Heatblur's Forrestal depicts the (Fictional) Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Duke of Edinburgh R02, the second of three licensed-built Forrestal class carriers, first entering service in 1970. These were the product of a US/British cooperation in the late 60s to restore big-deck carrier capability for the Royal Navy. This livery depicts her as she was during her 1978 WestLant cruise during Exercise Knightfall with two other British carriers and four American carriers. She would go on to serve in the Falklands War, and later the Gulf War, serving valiantly in both conflicts. Duke of Edinburgh would be decommissioned in the July of 2021, after 50 years of service.
To Install: Locate the CoreMods F-14 livery folder where you would install F-14 liveries and create a new folder called "Forrestal" exactly as I have typed it and paste the contents of the zip within it.
