The Al Nusra Front incident - June 2013 (FICTIONAL)

Here is a Huey mission with a little of everything (slingloading, coordinated attack, navigation and precision landing). Suitable for both advanced pilots and beginners.

The distances are short and the mission is actionpacked and storydriven with lots of voice-overs and semi-advanced logic/triggers to make sure the story is moving along nicely.

You can also use the F10-menu to skip an assignment, if you struggle to complete it. This makes the mission more beginner friendly.

See added PDF mission briefing for details.

I spent several weeks completing this mission, so I hope you enjoy.

Appreciate any feedback.

Briefing

The Al-Nusra Front has taken the President and several officials as hostages in
the Presidential palace in Damascus. Negotiations have been ongoing for the
last four days. The Al-Nusra Front is growing tired of the lack of progress in the
negotiations. We expect the situation to escalate and spiral out of control quickly.
Syrian forces supported by an American drone are preparing a coordinated attack
to free the President and to eliminate the terrorist group.

Due to the situation, the “Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate” and other official buildings have
heavily increased their security.
