For the 75th anniversary of 331 sqn F-16AM 78-0277 was given a special tail. The approved design was grey and green, the colors used on the Norwegian Spitfires, with a stencil of the 331 sqn crest, but somewhere along the line someone messed up and what was applied to the aircraft was black and blue. The stencils fell off after a short while.
