Support a Task Force in defending Lauterbach from a soviet attack in regimental scale.

This is a mission meant to be played with your friends. Its of course possible to fly it alone, but you wont make a big dent in the enemy attack force.

It can be played with the A-10A or the A-10C. If you want other planes, simply change them in the mission editor. Start in the air or in the ground.

Update: The soviets will retreat if faced with significant casualties.

On 19 August 1944, the 406th Fighter Group took off from their base at Cretteville to attack barge traffic hauling supplies to the German army in Normandy. In a rare appearance, the Luftwaffe sent 30 fighters to meet them over the Seine River. The 406th claimed six enemy planes destroyed and three damaged. You are leading  a flight of  the 513th Fighter Squadron.

•    Tensions have escalated in the Strait of Hormuz following increased Iranian military activity. Intelligence confirms a hardened Iranian Air Defense (AD) network protecting critical infrastructure in the region.
•    REC imagery has identified Minab Dam, located northeast of Bandar Abbas, as a major power and logistics hub. Destroying the dam will severely disrupt the regional command and supply chain.
•    The dam is heavily defended by SA-11 Buk systems and SA-15 Tor close-in protection units. Overhead coverage is provided by a broader integrated AD network including S-300PMU2 and S-200 sites.

The authors have spent over a year engineering Troops In Contact.  Troops In Contact transforms the DCS ground combat experience to be more immersive and fun.  The AI units are no longer overly accurate terminator bots, are now more dynamic, and they can navigate complex terrain.  Troops In Contact has been tested so far with 800 units in close proximity to each other and to human players, without overloading the server.

All of this without any coding or specialized knowledge required.
