The year is 2010, a tense situation between Russia and Georgia. NATO has initiated a 2 ship QRA squadron situated in Kobuleti, where your primary task is to intercept (random) unidentified bogey contacts and escort them out of Georgian airspace WITHOUT deploying weapons. However, due to the tense situation some of those bogeys may be in fact bandits trying to shoot you down.

One RANDOM bogey spawn will take place under a mission from anywhere in the outskirts of Georgia. It can vary from many different russian aircrafts, and it may be several planes or just one. They may attack you, they may not, but please be aware of the rules of engagement : RETURN FIRE.

Bogeys can vary from MiG-29, Su-27, Su-25, Cessna 210, Passenger Jets, Tu-160, MiG-21, UAVs and many more.

The 302d Fighter Squadron is part of the Air Force Reserve Command's 477th Fighter Group at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska. It operates the Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor conducting an air superiority mission. in 1987 a new AFRES fighter squadron was established at Luke AFB, AZ and took over the 302d lineage as the 302d Tactical Fighter Squadron. With the transition of AFRES to Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC), the squadron deployed several times since late 1992 to Turkey to help enforce the no-fly zone over Iraq and to Italy to support UN air operations in the Balkans.

CVW-8 Aboard CVN-71 is transiting to the Persian Gulf after a successful combat deployment in the Mediterranean. However, Iran has restarted its seizure of civilian shipping, with the HANDY WIND being boarded earlier this morning. VFA-87 and VF-41 are authorized to engage Iranian surface vessels conducting these seizures. Additionally, there are believed to be two active silkworm sites guarding the strait, one of which has been identified and damaged by USN surface vessels.

CVW-8 Is tasked with destroying static SAM threats guarding the straight of Hormuz, and destroying IRIN vessels in the Strait of Hormuz targeting friendly and neutral shipping.

The first time Группа Акула's pilots came across the F5 platform is believed to be with the captured F5s stationed in the Soviet Air Base of Aktubinsk. Reasoning behind that line of thought is the Group's pilots refusal of training before operating Ethiopia's F5s during a contract in 1998.

The Группа Акула is a fictional group of independent renegade fighters from all over the globe, who organized themselves into a mostly cohesive unit. The group operates mostly like a PMC, and is usually contracted to fill in for weak or poorly equipped air forces, such as in Africa and in the Middle East, and currently also operating in Ukraine to recruit soldiers from both sides. The origins of the group are unknown, but it's believed that it started in a former soviet airbase in late 1991 as pilots and mechanics found themselves whitout a flag they believed in.

No politics, no flags, only sharks.

Hello,

I would really like to get a Feedback on this mission.

This is my first mission i have uploaded so far and i hope you´ll like it.There will come more Missions in the Future.

You are onboard the USS Abraham Lincoln once again in the Persian Gulf. After many defeats on the Iraqi-Iranian border, the IS finally advanced further and captured a cement factory near Shriraz. They need them to finance their organization to bring islamic countries into their power. The US Navy decided to destroy it to stop the IS money flow.
Your Mission is to destroy the Factory near Shiraz Airport.
Before you launch off the carrier 2 CG Ticonderogas will laucnh tomahawk cruise missiles and try to destroy possible sam sites and enemy fighter jets. There could be enemy fighter jets taking off or are already airborne.

After lauched off of the carrier you have to do a normal CASE 1 departure. ( You have to lauch from cat 2)

As you return from the carrier you should do a normal CASE 1 Recovery Landing
