The 322 (Dutch) Squadron RAF is the oldest operating squadron of the Dutch Royal Air Force. It was founded on June 12, 1943, and was the first squadron of the RAF that consisted entirely of Dutch soldiers and started operating in July 1943 from Woodvale Airbase. The Squadron flew 4896 operational flights during 6382 flighthours by 59 Dutch and 33 British and Dominion pilots.
