--Northrop F-5E Tiger II - FAB 4841 1° GAVCA - BASC (2003 - 2004)--
“1943 - 2003: 60 anos 1° GAVCA”
To commemorate its 60th Anniversary, 1º GAVCA had one of its aircraft painted in a special scheme. Designed and painted in Canoas between 10 and 15 December 2003 by then Major Sergio Barros de Oliveira, a pilot from 1º/14º GAV, it was officially shown on 18 December of that year, during the military parade commemorating the 1º GAVCA anniversary held at Santa Cruz Air Base. F-5E 4841 retained this scheme until mid-2004*
--Northrop F-5E Tiger II - FAB 4846 1° GAVCA - BASC (2005 - 2006)--
“1975 - 2005: 30 anos F-5 na FAB”
To commemorate 30 years of continued F-5 operation by the Brazilian AF, F-5E 4846 received a special scheme in April 2005. Designed by Sandro Dinarte it was shown publicly at the Fighter Aviation Day of that year, which is held every 22 April at Santa Cruz AB. 4846 retained this scheme until mid-2006*
