Fictional A-10c Snake skin for DCS World
DCS: A-10c Snake skin by =4c=Grom
To install Snake skin:
Unpack rar package, unzip package A-10c SnakeSkin.zip to separate folder, and copy all dds files to the installation directory -> Bazar\World\textures\A-10.zip
e.g.
c:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\World\textures\A-10.zip\
Entire folder that contains the file description.lua, with the name of skin (A-10c SnakeSkin) copy to the Liveries.
e.g.
c:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\A-10C
Don't do it wrong and copy only description!
With Notepad ++, open the Eagle Dynamics directory and find DCS World\Config\Graphics.cfg
find:
VFSTexturePaths
{
and after
path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\beczl";
add this
path = ".\\Bazar\\World\\textures\\A-10c_Snake";
You can select the Snake skin in the Mission Editor. Select your plane, -> go to Payload, -> Paint scheme -scroll down in the list, you can find and select it.
Finally, I added patches on the pilot's jumpsuit. If you want this, only copy (insert) pilot_a10.bmp.dds file to:
c:\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\World\textures\A-10.zip\
Skin is based on my previous fictional Snake skin for DCS A-10C Warthog.
