Canadair Sabre 23221 of the Sabre Transistion Unit, based at RCAF Station Chatham, New Brunswick, Canada, circa 1967.
Sabre 23221 sports a combination of nationality markings, including older RCAF roundels, with the "new" Canadian flag that was introduced in 1965. The red hi-viz markings used by training aircraft in Canada were changed to flourescent orange as of December, 1963. The aircraft also wears a special Centennial marking to celebrate Canada's 100th anniversary of Confederation.
The Sabre was finally retired from RCAF service in late 1968. 23221 had served as a front line fighter with No. 441 Squadron, based at Marville in the mid-fifties, before returning to Canada to be used as an advanced training aircraft. She now graces the campus of the Royal Military College in Kingston, Ontario, once again finished in the markings of 441 squadron.
Unzip the zipped file and then place the "STU 221 Centennial" folder into your DCS World\CoreMods\aircraft\F-86\Liveries\F-86F Sabre folder.
Note - you may have to create both the Liveries and F-86F Sabre folders first.
