Situation
As the battle rages on the Western front near Sochi-Adler, Georgia, with her NATO allies, has decided to open a second front to the North. A large number of Russian medium and long-range bombers have been moved to Mozdok airbase. Our plan is to destroy these bombers on the ground this evening.

You will conduct a surprise attack on 2 SAM sites before ordering the ground strike.

Note: This mission takes place after Cage the Bear.

After rebuffing Russia's opening salvo, allied forces have initiated a counter-attack. With NATO and Georgia's limited in-theatre resources, we have managed to organise 2 ground strike groups that have begun advancing westward. Our objective is to bruise the Russian invasion force, deter future aggression, and test their resolve.

Your targets are a number of ships that are moving men and materiel to the battlezone. 3 Russian dry cargo vessels, with a single frigate escort are heading southeast at 14 knots.

Playtime: 1 hr.

    You are a captain with more than a thousand flight hours on one of the most emblematic jets of all history, the F-18 Hornet. Your Wing, the Spanish 12th Air Wing, has been deployed on Georgia for giving assistance on interception tasks on its air space, while they are upgrading some systems on most planes of their fleet.
    For the last few weeks, rain and snow have been hitting that part of the continent, making air communications and flight traffic especially difficult, for civil planes as well as for military ones. Therefore, it’s expected our Wing to act at some point and the stakes are high.

El Ala 12, a la que perteneces, ha sido destinada a realizar una misión de apoyo en las operaciones de interceptación en el espacio aéreo de Georgia, mientras su ejército realiza labores de mantenimiento en la mayor parte de sus aparatos.
    Estas semanas el frío y la nieve golpean duramente estos rincones del continente, dificultando las comunicaciones y el flujo de todos los vuelos, tanto civiles como militares. Se espera por lo tanto tener que intervenir en alguna ocasión y los ánimos están tensos.
