Iran and China have entered an alliance of mutual support which has bolstered Iran's influence in the Persian Gulf. As a result tensions between this alliance and the US and Europe escalated to the point of war. This mission is set early in the conflict and involves providing CAP for ground attack flights.

I want to share a Set of 15 Static Templates that I edited to provide scenery objects and air defense for each of Iran's Airbases on the Persian Gulf Map. These Templates make use of three User Mods, that must be installed prior to actually using the Templates on the Mission Editor. They are:

The smoke and fire atop Jebel Dahi is a testament to the success of this morning’s strike on Megiddo radar station  (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3313538/). In a stroke of  genius only our glorious leader is capable of, our heroic Syrian arab air force (SyAAF) has been tasked to take advantage of the Zionists’ loss of radar coverage over Northern Israel and proceed with the bombing of Ramat David AB.

Your MiG-19 is tasked with sneaking into Israel using the hilly terrain to the south of Ramat David AB as cover. This will allow you to approach the Hawk battery site without being fired upon. The heavy smoke coming out of Jebel Dahi is highly visible. It will allow you to find your way deep into the enemy territory.

After you disable the Hawk battery, you will signal our other flights waiting to pounce onto their target.

1966/Mar 4/MiG-19P/Self/QRA Scramble/3:02

Syrian ground radars have detected a distant high altitude echo moving fast towards Latakia. Calls from the air controllers have remained unanswered. No flight plan has been submitted for this aircraft. Since the calls were made, the unidentified spot, that seems to be a large aircraft, has started to behave erratically while descending and accelerating.

You’re a Syrian air force pilot on a nightly QRA watch. Given the odd  behaviour of the unknown aircraft, you’ve been tasked to man your aircraft and complete the startup procedure. You are to take-off if the ATC issues the scramble alert. In this eventuality, further instructions will be given after take-off.

Your armament consists of two K-13A missiles and two NR-30 guns with their full complement of ammunition.

After many Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) pilots have fallen in traps set by devious zionist* pilots, our crafty leadership* has decided to punish the enemy by setting a trap of our own making.

Two flights of MiG-19s and -21s have been tasked to stage a mock attack over Kiryat Shmona AB. It is believed this is the base from where non conventional israeli spy aircraft operate. This attack is designed to attract the enemy air force’s attention to the area north of the Sea of Galilee. This diversion will allow you to, and another pair of MiG-19s right behind you, fly without attracting undue attention and to attack their radar station at Megiddo. Destroying it will avenge our martyrs* and severely hamper the Zionists’ ability to plan further ambushes against us.

A short CAP mission in an Iranian F-14A

A piston engined israeli plane has been spotted in the vicinity of Rayak air base in the Bekaa Valley. We suspect the bandit is going to overfly the base and take photographs of the undergoing runway extension work to accomodate modern MiGs and help our Arab lebanese brothers protect themselves from the Zionist aggression*.

You’re a Syrian Arab Air Force (SyAAF) pilot on an early morning QRA watch from Al Dumayr air base. You are to take off immediately and head for the Bekaa Valley.

3 linked missions in the Beqaa Valley. Between the years 2013 and 2018, Israel conducted at least 101 airstrikes in Syria, nearly half of which were against missile assembly/storage facilities. Hezbollah, with help from the Iranian Quds force had moved operations to Syria from Beqaa  Valley in the belief that they were safer under the Syrian Sam umbrella. We know that Israeli airstrikes have continued through 2020 though at a slightly reduced pace and again, mainly targeting missile assembly/storage facilities to deny Hezbollah access to advanced missile technology. These 3 missions, ranging from moderate to hard, typify one day in mid 2012 of airstrikes in the Beqaa by the IAF on a missile/assembly storage facility. Note: Please read the pdf file for a more complete information and history. In the files I have used a slightly different spelling for the Beqaa as suggest by an Arabic friend to better capture what it sounds like.
