Carlo Cavagliano (16 September 1916 – ?) was an aviator in the Regia Aeronautica and the A.N.R. during World War II.

Cavagliano obtained his gliding patent, in 1933 and joined the Regia Aeronautica in 1936. From 1940 to 1943, he flew first in North Africa and then in Italy. After the Armistice of 8 September 1943, he joined the A.N.R., 2nd Fighter Group "Gigi Tre Osei", 1st Squadron commanded by Captain Ugo Drago, a department with which he would fight until the end of the conflict. He was among the first to fly with the Bf 109 in May 1943, when the unit was re-equipped. He engaged in 14 aerial combats with two aircraft reported shot down and several others damaged. His last flight took place on 24 April 1945, transporting one of the surviving aircraft of the unit from Villafranca to Orio al Serio. He disappeared in Milan on 30 August 1995.

3°Gruppo Autonomo Caccia Terrestre "Diavoli Rossi" (translated: "Red Devils") with the 153rd, 154th and 155th Squadriglia receiving 23 Bf 109 G-6s. In contrast to the 150° Gruppo, this unit had no German instructors, so they taught themselves to fly the Bf 109 G with the manual and a few prayers. These training flights began on May 23, 1943. The first kill was achieved by Serg. Magg. Carlo Cavagliano on June 13th when he shot down a Spitfire.
