Layout File for the Thrustmaster Cougar MFDs for the F-14 Tomcat.

So I wanted to make a simple mission where I'd be able to have a fun, not too complicated flight with the F-14B and use the new TARPS reconnaissance pod that we got recently. This is mostly a mission where you takeoff from the Supercarrier in 1988, fly to your waypoints, take photos of suspected Soviet deliveries of T-55 tanks and BMP-2s, (sound effects included) then fly back to the carrier and land. If you perform the mission correctly, you get an idea of the pictures you took right after your plane comes to a stop on the deck of USS Theodore Roosevelt.

F-14B Tomcat of the Estovakian Air Force - 10th Aviation Regiment - 33rd Tactical Fighter Squadron 'Levko'

From the 494th Panthers AF96-0204 curreently depolyed to the middle east on operation Sky Shield 8. on the depolyment the 494th EFS "panthers" painted 96-0204 with the Newest nose art from RAF Lakenheath.
the nose art features a Cat, with a red scarf, Green googles and CLAWIN' Kitty underneath

I have remade this jet as well as i can with its dirt, nose art, wearthering to try and recreate this jet in DCS
This jet means alot to me so i have tryed my best to get the best result for everyone.

A mainstay of Carrier Aviation, VF-14 Would split from their longtime sister squadron VF-616 “Gargoyles” at the turn of the century. Leading Carrier Air Wing 23 aboard the OFS Barbet, the Snakes would deploy on a cruise to Usea in 2005, to protect Osean interests in the region from the ongoing conflict in the region.

During the Circum-Pacific War, the Squadron was still in its training phase and was relegated to shore duty, while their Carrier would be lost in the conflict. CVW-23 would transfer aboard the surviving OFS Hubert until 2015 with the commissioning of the OFS Barbet, another Hubert-class Supercarrier. During the Lighthouse War, VF-14 Would transfer along with other CVW-23 Elements aboard OFS Vulture, participating in various combat missions during the conflict.

Today, the Snakes exist as a relic, one of the final F-14B squadrons in the fleet, as well as a pending unit closure may make this storied Squadron a thing of history.

VF-211 operated the F-14 Tomcat for 30 years (1975-2005), including the A and B models. The livery depicted in these skins represents the 2000-2002 period, during which the Checkmates won numerous awards for their combat strike-fighter effectiveness.
