You're a Combined Joint Task Forces Blue (CJTF) Sector Commander watching a ridge in no-mans land south of you. You’ve just received reports of RedFor tanks and APC's moving from their front lines towards a town on the ridge at Objective A.

You have sent a patrol of 4 tanks and 2 light armour vehicles to the ridge to investigate the incursion.

Mozdok Airbase is scrambling SEAD/DEAD and CAP aircraft to clear the airspace for CAS flights that may be needed later. We have air superiority over the battlefield but are expecting patrols from enemy attack helicopters.

BluFor has a drone flying to the battle area to better assess the situation. It is also providing smoke or laser designation for CAS missions.

Artillery and MLRS batteries are available for specific fire missions.

As the fight develops your Commander will release additional tanks and light armoured vehicles to you.

For ten years rumours abound, blown to smithereens by one of his creations, fled the country, killed by a splinter faction, we never really knew, we were just thankful he was gone. Now he's back! This time it's different though.. we've got a lock on him & our Intel reveals it's a suicide mission & he's going out with a bang.. a very big bang. Tracked to Dubai.. his target, the Burj Khalifa, tallest building in the World & this will be his final conquest, to bring down over 2,700 feet of this incredible landmark. Yes, he will meet his maker alright, but not the way he plans it because we have YOU to stop him & this time, this man, known only to us as the GOAT.. The God Of All Terrorists.. must die!

VMFA-251, the Thunderbolts, deployed on the supercarrier Abraham Lincoln has been tasked with destroying targets in the vicinity of 3 airports on the Black Sea coast. You will fly 2 sorties today targeting ammunition dumps, a command center, airport defences and fuel storage facilities at Sukhumi-Babushara airport.

The USS Spruance, located near the carrier group will launch a simultaneous cruise missile attack on targets at Sukhumi, Gudauta and Sochi airports

You can fly 2 sorties in any order:

Pontiac 1 - JDAM GBU 31(V)3/B bunker busters
Hardened ammunition dumps, airport ammunition depot and command center (4 targets)

Pontiac 2 - JSOW AGM-154A (submunition payload)
Fuel facilities, airport defences and aircraft stands (6 targets)

In this mission you can practice using a variety of A/G weapons against 1 or more spawned SAM sites of your choosing. Four loadouts to choose from: 4 X HARMs, 8 X JDAMs, 8 X JSOWs or 4 X IR MAVs or create your own loadout in the mission editor.  

REDFOR SAM sites are selected via the comms/other menu and will spawn in 1 of 6 random zones in the vicinity of Beslan airport. When spawned, threat envelope information for the spawned SAM unit will display in the upper right corner of the screen.

This mission uses a MOOSE SEAD evasion script. If a HARM attack is detected SAM radars may turn off, attempt to shoot down the HARM and mobile SAM units may relocate to avoid the attack. SAM units have random skill levels.

Our Predator has identified 3 mobile SAM units embedded within a 8 unit enemy column heading South towards Anapa AFB and at this base a deadly SAM SA-11 Buk has also been identified. These are your 4 Prime Targets and you have 38 min to stop the mobile SAMs before they reach Anapa.

This is a mission to test if the socalled In-Ground-Effect (IGE) is actually noticeable.

At altitudes of less then one rotor length the In-Ground-Effect (IGE) should provide some extra lift.
You can try and feel if this is the case by reducing the collective to account for the IGE.
This is barely noticeable at least to myself. Maybe this is not even modelled correctly in DCS?
Any experienced helicopter pilots can maybe comment on this.
In theory with the coaxial rotors of the KA50 this IGE should be more pronounced than with other helicopters.
Unfortunately there are no charts available for the KA50.

The Russian Frigate "Moskva" has forced the Korean Ship "Korean Rose" to stop and wants to land onboard the vessel with a helicopter. YOU are that pilot flying a KA50-Black Shark 3 and want to land on the helipad of the Korean Vessel "Korean Rose". You are already approaching it at a 90 Degree angle and have to slowly manoeuvre close to the helipad to land.
