This is another fictional scheme based on old 1970s paint schemes for the A-7 Corsair II.  This time from VA-46 Clansmen.

Has Bort numbers and Args changed for the old helmet/visor.

F-14A VF-41 Black Aces 1979, USS Nimitz

Accurate colors, updated roughmets, labels and stencils.

F-14A BuNo 161274 as flown by the Black Aces in 2000/2001.
This is the CAG Aircraft which was less colorful than the XO Bird.

Buno 161274 has first seen service in May '81 with VF-1 Wolfpack.
It joined VF-211 in May '88, then VF-154 in August '89, to VF-213 in January '91.
Next to VF-24 in August '95, back to VF-211 in July '96 and over to VF-41 in August 2000.
From there on it went to VF-101 in January 2002 with one final visit to VF-211 in March 2004.
In August of 2004 it was transfered to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group.

F-14A Grumman Shop Number 530 was delivered 02/21/86. 162608 accumulated 5784 flight hours, 1682 cat shots, and 1699 arrested landings, including field arrestments. She has rested at a museum in Birmingham, AL, since 10/16/03.

This is a single mission recreation of the 1981 Gulf of Sidra incident, when two F-14s of VF-41 shot down 2 Lybian SU-22s. The mission does not only recreate the events accurately, but uses the original radio recordings as voice overs, so you can re-live what Fast Eagle 102 and 107 went through 40 years ago.

The mission comes with custom briefing and kneeboard pages, historically accurate custom skins, original radio transmissions and other voice overs by Epolta. It can also be played in Multiplayer with a human RIO.

VFA-41 Black Aces Liveries for the F/A-18C Hornet. Since the Black Aces fly the F/A-18F these are considered ficitional.

CAG '13 is the CAG Livery from around 2013
CAG '15 is the 70th Anniversary Livery
CAG '18 is the most recent (March) Livery
XO '15 is the 101 Bird from around 2015
Line '13 is a Low Vis Livery which was used around that time
Line '18 is the current Low Vis Livery.

- Pilot Helmets have new Bumpmaps and Navy White Reflective Tape + Velcro on top (thanks to tuckerj17)
- Some Pilots also have Tan Flight Suits now
- Every Pilot has a Brown Shirt and Brown Boots as per Navy Rules
- Different Dirt Levels
