Map - Normandy 2.0

A "historic" multiplayer mission set on the Normandy 2 map. Requires WWII asset pack.

Some creative liberties have been taken to get a good dynamic mission. This means that the mission is not completely historically accurate.

The mission can be flown as singleplayer (Ford 1) or multiplayer (up to 24 slots) The mission will automatically adapt to the number of players participating but ideal number is 4 or more.

Playable modules: P-51D, P-47D, Spitfire & Mosquito.

Due to the fact that there are no winter scenery on the Normandy 2 map the weather is set to foggy.

The mission was originally created for the Swedish Flight Sim Community "NOSIG"

Map - Normandy 2.0

It's the big day of the landings, your role will be to support the troops on the ground or in flight.
You will be a player IN REAL TIME in the biggest battle in history aboard your P51-D during the longest day, for a 22-hours mission.
The chronology respects as best as possible the significant events of the landing.

C'est le grand jour du débarquement, votre rôle sera de soutenir les troupes au sol ou en vol.
Vous serez acteur EN TEMPS RÉEL de la plus grande bataille de l'histoire à bord de votre P51-D pendant la journée la plus longue, pour une mission de 22 heures.
La chronologie respecte au mieux les événements marquants du débarquement.

You need Normandy map and WW2 assets.
All warbirds are available.
This is mainly a ground attack mission and enemy planes are only spawned in by using the radio menu.
P-51's, P-47's and Mosquito's are ideal for this ground attack mission.
