A fictional Australian aircraft carrier based on the Forrestal,
this is a Livery file and does NOT require modifying the main DCS folder.
Just for fun and Aussie carrier fans, here is a fictional
Royal Australian Navy carrier based on the Forrestal.
Bright Deck Markings make for easy traps.
This is a Livery file and does NOT require modifying the main DCS folder.
To install, unzip the Forrestal folder and drop it into:
C:\Users\your-user-name\Saved Games\DCS or DCS.Openbeta\Liveries folder,
overwrite ALL if it asks.
Start DCS, go to the mission Editor and place a Forrestal carrier, then go to the
AMMO button, change the Paint Scheme to "HMAS Hinchinbrook - Royal Australian Navy".
Add your favourite carrier aircraft near the carrier and change it to "client", and the start
type to "Takeoff from Parking HOT" or whatever you please, then save the mission, hit fly,
and spawn onto the carrier.
I modified some liveries for the T-45, making some Aussie birds, leave a comment if you
are interested and I might upload them.
